We stayed in the deluxe cabins. The staff is great and helpful. Four of us were very comfortable but the cabin could sleep six very easy. The cabin is a mini home, very nice and very clean. The back porch is great for views of mountains and the river. Only a couple things that were odd. The cabins sit in between RV slots so your immediate neighbor is a motorhome if you have an end cabin. Also, for $325/night we were surprised at what was expected for clean up (strip bedding, wash dishes, pack towels and bedding in pillow cases) or they hit you with a fee. We will stay again but perhaps shop less expensive dates.
Good food, cheap, and slow service. They have a large sign that says $5 breakfast. There are 4 choices with this deal and it comes with coffee. Choices are breakfast sandwich, 1/2 order of biscuit and gravy, breakfast burrito, or cinnamon roll. Other menu options include eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and pancakes. Breakfast sandwich was delicious!!
This is the best RV and cabin park in town! We have stayed in both the rustic and deluxe riverfront cabins. The rustic cabins are cute and clean, and have access to large, clean bathrooms. The deluxe cabins are huge and fit our family of five perfectly. They were stocked with plenty of clean linens and every kitchen utensil and dish we needed. The property has a beautiful river view, quick access to the river walk, and is incredibly clean and welcoming.
After traveling nearly 6,000 miles with my German Shepherd, Kukla, from Cincinnati to Oregon to Colorado, we just happened upon this place in Ouray. Serendipity! The clean and simple cabin by the river was just what we needed... So, we stayed for a month and got to know all the hard-working crew and our neighbors in the adjacent cabins. Only the too long winter nights kept me from staying longer; though it might have proven a good place to hibernate and wake up in the springtime. Thanks to all and some!
We wish we would've stayed here sooner! The owners are so friendly. We just had a wonderful stay and have booked a site for a month next year. You have to try Bombie's restaurant, too. Excellent prime rib on Saturday nights.
